This was the Bay Area’s most exciting annual awards gala; which included a standing reception with "A Taste of Soul offering an array of the finest hors d’oeuvres, delectable desserts, exciting entertainment and, of course, our special award presentations.

Thirty of the Bay Area’s most influential African Americans, 700 of their friends and supporters, and distinguished representatives of several of the most prominent civic, community, corporate and professional organizations were there.
